Or maybe that's what happens when you tell the constituents and government employees that they can't have steak for every meal any more. Real reforms are tough. Meanwhile, Democratic governors are mostly laying low, or like Jerry Brown, pretending that candy is going to rain from the sky.

I found a mention of a 70 percent approval rating as of February for Daniels. Guess they didn't look too hard.
As I recall, there are twenty-nine Republican governors. I only count eight on that chart. How are the rest doing?
How about Texas? Not exactly a small fry in national elections. 54 percent approve of Perry as governor.
