A turtle ran over a snail.
The ambulance arrived, and as the medics were reviving the poor thing, a police detective knelt at his side. Drawing his notebook, he looked the victim over.
"Can you tell me what happened?" asked the detective.
The snail blinked up at him. "...Well, it all happened -- so quickly..."
