Yeah, but Conservatives wouldn't like it.
They figure unless you can prove beyond a shadow of a doubt no more children whatsoever would be baked in cars, or if you can show at least one child was deliberately roasted, on purpose, then any attempt to pass legislation that might merely reduce the number of victims would be just the nanny state infringing on their freedoms.
Mainly, they just want tinted windows because they think it makes them look cool.
