I never could understand his humor.

He was a lot like Steve Martin in that respect, or even Jerry Lewis. All three were fine dramatic actors, but I just never thought they were funny. Then again, I never cared for Monty Python, either.

Right now the cause is said to be suicide, caused by depression and related to drugs. How strange. He seemed to be in good physical health for is age, he was no doubt prosperous (he lived in Tiburon), happily married to a beautiful woman, talented, respected by his peers...I could go on.

May he rest in peace.
