I can think of words in my vocabulary that weren't as respectful or descriptive as "oriental".

"Dink", "slope", "gook", "shithead", all preceded by "fucking" were the preferred and more polite terms for certain Asian people. Go back to WWII cartoons on YouTube and see what terms were used for the Japanese and Germans.

I've with Biden, I guess. If anyone finds "oriental" more offensive than "Asian" I say screw the little bastard. If they can find that offensive they are too sensitive for me to even be around.

However, I will play the game. Even though I think the way I use "oriental" is respectful, without a trace of negative nuance or overtone. If they're ashamed of being orientals, that's their problem.
