A classic vs a King classic
Earth Abides is a beautiful work of fiction, notwithstanding that I found it a little depressing. I am a technophile and a cockeyed optimist.
I read it years and years ago but it stays with you
I enjoyed reading The Stand but reading King is somewhat of a guilty pleasure, like watching Die Hard flicks. Once you read one King novel you have just about read them all. Cujo is a notable exception that is hard to believe he really wrote.
