You're right. The preachers, press and politicians love that sort of thing.
There's no money in measured responses. IS is a long, long ways from our borders, but we need to scream that the sky is falling even if it's a sky over there.
Maybe it did take the preachers screaming that AIDs was the curse of God in order to get the money to do whatever has been done, but it doesn't seem to be the scourge that was threatened.
And of course, whatever sells papers.
