The drums - follow the money.
Yes they are beating the drums. Instead of Iraq, or Iran, or North Korea they have found ISIS. And they will fight that war using weapons which nave no chance of "winning", and simply spawn more and more virulent enemies.
We are fools - caught in the Conservatives dream, eternal war, non =ending war which simply serves to make the wealthy wealthier. The adolescent in us says "kill 'em", teach 'em, bigawd. I feel that way too.
And I realize only a fool fights a fight he cannot win when he could fight the same fight and win.
Barnum was right.
