"Of all the souls I've encountered in my travels, his was the most...human"
So said Kirk eulogizing Spock in The Wrath of Khan. As the day goes on and word of Nimoy's passing spreads, that line is bubbling up as the definitive twitter-size memorial. George Takei used it on his twitter feed, adding "Rest in peace with the stars, my dear friend.".
Various versions of the video clip of Spock's funeral from Khan are suddenly going viral. This one was composed today as a tribute: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jktczczSTg
Trigger warning: Have a hankie ready for when Kirk chokes up on the word "human".
Goodbye, Leonard Nimoy.
