It is up to the citizen to pare down government.
Through the vote, the courts, the constitution, and if need be, by protest, dissent or even rebellion.
But business...who pares them down? The so-called free market? Not hardly, a crooked business is profitable, and the market always favors profit over justice.
Sometimes people don’t want answers to be simple. But there it is.
