I use the term "reframing" the way Robert defined it here about two years ago when he first exposed your sneaky little tactic. That usage is now accepted in American political discourse. Don't tell me you have forgotten the past, and are now condemned to repeat it.
Tom, what really steams you is that your other bogus tactic, selecting isolated historical events as proof of the inevitability of certain subsequent events (unless your ideology is uncritically followed), has been demonstrated to be bullshit.
Or to put it another way, the fact that the Russian courts have banned Scientology doesn't mean squat other than they do things there that we would consider unconstitutional here. The Germans ban Naziism. So what does that prove?
