If you don't believe the Arctic is melting, developing it is not a priority. Have you heard any interest from the GOP about countering these moves? All they're interested in is the oil.
The Russians are perfectly entitled to do what they're doing, check out the website, they are working openly with other countries and companies. We should be working with Canadians to similarly develop the Northwest Passage.
You just don't have the conceptual framework in place to properly interpret what is going on. 8)
