RL, I felt that your post, while related to science, has predominantly public affairs (political to some) content by weight.
I agree that paleolithic mindsets like that are a dagger aimed at the heart of science. But is it possible that perhaps even discussing it on Space/Science gives that mindset more stature than it deserves? (And thus might Flame have been the board that mindset deserves?)
