If you had a brain, it wouldn't be hard to see that you are carrying a few premises around that contradict each other. If you actually carried a line of reasoning through to the other end--or at all--you'd realize that Trump isn't an issue if you're right about him.
Premise 1: Trump is a fascist bastard being carried through the primaries by the Republican base of vile racist troglodytes.
Premise 2: Trump is a fascist bastard that could not possibly win a general election comprised of Democrats and reasonable Republicans
Premise 3: Trump will become president and destroy this country forever.
You see? If your first premises are true, Trump can't possibly be a real threat to get elected. Why should I sweat bullets about him? I'm not sweating bullets about Jeb Bush either.
You can hold conflicting premises at the same time because you don't make connections, and you don't deal with corollaries.
I had some information on this election that I posted earlier in January that you might have found useful. I discussed what was really the motivation behind the outsiders, in both parties. It was ignored, and the subjects were changed. Fine.
You know, it's interesting how toxic this place has become.
I said something about "Obama's only religion being Obama" and ER delivered a seven-paragraph lecture to me on my "pure, unalloyed, toxic, unreasoning, evil hatred."
And yet he, and a handful of "progressives" here, spend almost all their time here puking steaming bile on their political enemies. Even the slightest interruption of the stream, making any point at all, is shouted down with contempt. And you in particular seem to be very, very good at it.
Up above two of what you call "useful idiots" thanked ER for making what sounded like an attempt to civilize things a bit. Hah! Foolish Useful Idiots! It was just more snark and bile as anyone should have known!
The revealing part is that in the past this constant stream of attacks has gone on for months even if nobody else entered the conversation at all. If you care, go back and look.
What does that say? Who needs this much self-affirmation, this much repetition of their ideas to a non-critical audience if their position really holds up?
You're probably right that I wouldn't post here at all if I didn't see at least one person posting here who wasn't part of the usual band of Bandar-log. What would be the point?
I don't know why they let themselves in for the abuse. I've seen a lot of people chased out of here by this kind of crap, even while some of you wonder where everyone went. Yeah, that clueless.
Keep up the good work.
