Test--confirmed that youtube plugin is broken

This is the iframe code that YouTube provides:

It may not work for everybody; I think there's a filter that gives admins like me and you (podrock) the privilege to use HTML, maybe not everybody. This is a generic style that will always work on a technical level, but it presents security problems if just anybody can put in an iframe: It may carry harmful stuff on some "foreign" web site. So WordPress has that filter.

My test:

Confirmed that the old plugin is broken now. It's a third-party plugin that's gone defunct. This is what no longer works:

[]

Or this variant:

[]HwEGP441p1A[]

Bummer. I'd like somebody besides me or podrock to try YouTube's iframe code. Beware, though: I swear I pasted in code with ordinary quotes in the visible example above, but WordPress might turn them into "pretty quotes" for you, and those won't work. You could save yourself some grief and get the code directly from YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwEGP441p1A. Click the "Share" tab under the video, and select "Embed".
