Every time they suffer a defeat, the conclusion they reach is "We weren't pure enough- if only if we had been further on the extreme right then the voters would go with us!"
It is a clearly absurd conclusion to draw- the notion that the way to get popular support is to concentrate on appeasing the extremist fringe of your party... it's insane...
Whether is was actually stated by Rev. Graham, or not, it does not matter to me.
The facts don't matter to them*, all that matters is what they WANT to be true... and THAT is why they cannot be allowed power. They are a threat to the human race... they deny that the greatest threat to civilization even exists- instead they claim global warming is a conspiracy of scientists...
