They are good customers

The Saudi Kingdom buys billions of dollars of military hardware from the US every year, and has for decades, a major contribution to America's military industrial complex. They also buy from the UK and China. The kingdom is now third behind the US and China in military spending.

I'm not defending them. Just pointing out the currency flows both ways.
