...is deep reductions in THEIR taxes (not necessarily all taxes), that is, a non-progressive flat tax, and drastic cuts or elimination of corporate taxes, capital gains taxes, and inheritance taxes. They want restrictions on unions, and on labor, health, safety, environmental, workplace and employee protection or civil rights and banking and financial regulations.
Its not that they are evilly opposed to these benefits and reforms, they just don't want to pay for them because it doesn't benefit them directly. Their goal is the establishment of a civil society independent of critical democratic political supervision that serves corporate interests and responds to the needs of business because, as far as they are concerned, these are the people that really matter, the producers should make the decisions. As far as they are concerned, everyone else is just lazy, stupid, unambitious, larcenous and criminal. They dismiss them as the "47%", "the takers", and their lives do not matter, whether they are black or not. And they plan to finance this program on the backs of the poor, the working and the middle classes and by passing out subsidies and tax breaks and cultural patronage to those who cooperate with them politically.
In order to do this, they are ready to fellate and pander to religious fanatics, bigots, nativists, anti-intellectuals, fascists and the most helpless, ignorant and insecure elements in our society. Their goal is to dismantle the New Deal and the safety net and redirect the American economy and government back to the Gilded Age of the Robber Barons. It is strictly an economic agenda, they really don't care about religious or cultural issues, and they are even capable of being quite un-ideological. But they will still do whatever it takes to recruit those who are committed to those issues. They are not opposed to gays (they may even be gay themselves) or even opposed to abortions, after all, if their daughter or their secretary gets knocked up, they can certainly afford to pay for their own.
There are those in Trump's Party who now are now having second thoughts, who see they have unleashed a monster, but except for a very few brave ones, they are less afraid of the damage Trump can do to American Democracy than the threat the Democrats and the Constitution represent to their own personal prosperity and hegemony. But most simply don't care because, as they love to point out, government just doesn't matter. Regardless of what kind of country this becomes, they will prosper because they have the financial resources to protect themselves from whatever chaos results. Don't forget, they knew perfectly well, all along, this man was the Birther in Chief when they voted for him. Even if they weren't birthers themselves, they really didn't care. They had other priorities.

- Hey, Rob- remember that racist GOP candidate we said was racist...?
- I"m getting awfully tired of your senseless, incessant baiting of Rob.
- There just buying into it. Not being politically correct is hard on their reelection prospects.
- I've never spent much time liking Mark Kirk's politics...
