Are these gravity waves a one-shot deal? That is, do you get one wave from one physical event? Or do they reverberate and oscillate after the causal event occurs?
To put it another way, can I set up my own detector and listen to these two gravity waves, or do I have to sit and wait for another cosmic catastrophe to generate one?
