They "want their country back". But which one? And who do they plan to take it back from?

Just what kind of a world does the Right expect? A post-war, Cold War, 1950s prosperity and conformity? A land before hippies, Beatles and Black Power. A Gilded Age Robber Baron Capitalism? A Jeffersonian rural republic of scattered settlements in a carefully tamed, wholly-owned and tended wilderness? And what kind of external world will be required to allow us to inhabit that fantasy? What is our Manifest Destiny?

If Robert Heinlein were alive today he could write about that world, and prove to us why it would have to work.
