Maybe Trump and his troglodyte hordes are a just another redneck baboon troop, but at the core of the GOP is also a nucleus of very capable, totally ruthless, completely amoral and desperate men with everything to lose.

That these two factions are now at cross-purposes now does not mean they can't reach some accommodation in the future. It ain't over til its over.
