You kill your enemy, occupy his lands, steal his property, enslave his children, destroy everything else so no one else can use it...and you rape his women. The idea is not just to defeat your rival, immobilize or even destroy him, but to humiliate him. By dehumanizing your enemy you justify your theft of his goods by glorying in your ability, and the need, to exterminate him. You excuse pure greed and cruelty by cloaking it in nationalism or ideology. And you point to your enemy's inability to protect his own as evidence of his inferiority, of his weakness, of why he deserves to be immolated.

Except you don't need to be a barbarian to think that way, the Romans and the Nazis did the same thing. Its what happens whenever a civilization values property rights over human rights; when it it prefers wealth over humanity.

Trump represents the ultimate degenerate state of Capitalism. He produces nothing of value to the society, nothing which meets human needs and which survives in a marketplace. He sells luxury items and services to the rich, he peddles the cachet of his brand, his name. He does not compete in a fair marketplace against others like him, what he sells nobody wants except those who fancy themselves parasites like him. Nobody really needs the goods, services and commodities he offers. They are all status items of manufactured prestige but no intrinsic value.

Look at the crowds in his rallies. Do any of those people wear his neckties, stay in his hotels, fly in his planes, eat his steak or drink his wine?
