Everything you know about the reason for this outcome is wrong. If you come out of this thinking what Van Jones thinks, you're never going to learn anything. Lee is totally wrong, too.
I'm not going to explain it in detail. I've been here and done that, and it doesn't work here. You need to think it through yourself.
Start here: Hillary was the favorite candidate of Wall Street, the bankers, the lobbyists, the rich corporations, and everyone else you constantly identify with "Republicans" and "Trump America." Ever heard of the "Davos Party?"
Drive a piton in at that point, and keep going.
