This seems to clarify that there are only two universes, not a multiverse situation. Resistance blows up the Kempetai building. Chief Inspector Kito survives. Frank Frink doesn't (apparently). Two adam's apples take a bus out of town.
World War III is about to begin.
They seem to have picked up the pace a bit.
