Wellllllllll, look at it this way....
A general nuclear war would start a nuclear winter, which would counteract the effects of global warming.
Of course, Conservatives don't believe in nuclear winter, either. They believe it's just a hoax invented by Carl Sagan to scare us into unilaterally disarming.
Things have a way of working themselves out in the long run.
