Oh, and by the way, don't think I'm just beating up on Reps. The Dems are just as hypocritical, but for different reasons. They know that many immigrant Americans are citizens and they vote. And they have relatives who are illegal, so they will vote for a Party that helps them. Illegals have kids who are AMerican citizens, and THEY vote.
Its not just Republicans who are cynical. Its bi-partisan. In fact, many Mexican-Americans suspect hypocrisy is actually an Anglo thing, not just a political one.
