The Politburo meets and extols the virtues of the Fearless Leader.
It's like an SNL comedy skit, a parody of some Cold War era Soviet satellite state, a banana republic junta, or a crime boss war council. Or perhaps, a dramatic re-creation of the last few hours in the Fuhrerbunker.

People all over the world are watching that clip and wondering what has happened in the United States. Not only are the leader's advisers, supposedly a cross-section of GOP talent, the best and brightest of Conservative leadership, a fawning bunch of pathetic spineless brown-nosers, but the leader himself seems incapable of understanding how damning that grotesque little circle jerk looks. Remember, this was not recorded surreptitiously, it was deliberately filmed, and probably rehearsed.

All that's missing is Chris Christie.
