The Economist didn't pull a lot of punches, but I noticed they seemed a bit fastidious about noting there were 26,100 mentions of '“Centipedes” (“pedes” for short), a nickname for fellow Trump enthusiasts'. There's plenty of self-hatred there, when you scratch the skin of a Trump supporter. #Sad!

Such people are now providing the raw material for a president’s tweets. Happy birthday, America.
