...Trump's dinner summit with Putin was probably pretty innocent, and the press has probably exagerrated its importance and significance. This doesn't mean I don't think the Trumpster is deep in hock to the Putin Mafia, just that in this particular instance there is probably nothing to it.

My evidence is the sudden flurry of self-righteous indignation from the Trump gang. Anyone else would have simply set the record straight and moved on. But Trump seems to be determined to use the incident to distract us from the rest of his crimes and treachery. He has established a behavioral pattern that is pretty predictable.
Like a kid accused of constant mischief, when he can finally point to an accusation against him that is unfair, he milks it for all its worth.
