This isn't about redneck racism, or even bourgeois bigotry, its about raw economic and political power. Do you really believe those who profit from this exploitation really give a damn about race or ethnicity? Or even about sexual identity or gender? Nowhere in the Bible does it say that you have to be white, or male, or straight or even native born to be in the power elite. There are black robber barons, and female ones, and gay ones too. And America didn't invent them, either.

That's just the tool they use to stay in power, the mechanism they use to divide one class against another and get people to vote against their own economic self interest.
Bigotry and hatred is not the cause of economic exploitation, they are the result of it. The ownership class carries it in their blood, like syphilis.
