I tend to agree with General Kelly's remarks about the latest flap concerning Trump's "He [dead serviceman]knew what he was getting into" remarks. They are more evidence of a clumsy way of speaking and thinking, or a failure to speak tactfully in a very delicate conversation, than of any actual malice on his part. In other words, the remarks were unfortunate, but not unforgivable. And I also agree with Gen Kelly that it was bad form for the Congresswoman to exploit the conversation for political gain.
But the rest of this kerfuffle, the shameful lies, the oh-so-predictable knee-jerk attempt to hang it all on Obama, and the disgraceful episode of the $25K check, is pure Trump. The man's got the Brown Thumb: everything he touches turns to shit.
