There will be trouble.
The Pacific NW is crawling with highly organized, heavily armed right wing militia types. Even those who don't need bump stocks because they have the technical skills to mechanically convert their weapons to full select mode will still interpret this as a direct attack on them. They don't need much of an excuse to go on the offensive themselves.
