Office depot still carries the classic twisted metal wire swatters for the low price of four bucks.
Or, for another ten dollars you can get an electric swatter, a tennis racket type thing with an electrified webbing. I've one that works great with wasps!
Sometimes I just use a vacuum cleaner.
