There are several Pink Floyd tribute bands out there.
One was on our local PBS station. "Tribute Band" may be a bit unfair. These guys are excellent musicians, and they do the Floyd sound exactly, note for note, and have essentially the same light show. Even the slinky colored girls doing backup vocals have the same moves.
My first instinct is to reject this kind of copycat duplication, but I must confess that "note for note" performances are exactly how we listen to Bach, Mozart or Beethoven, so who's to say whether its legit or not?
