The reason all the laws and physical constants are so perfectly balanced for life to arise is simply because the only way the universe can 'collapse' into a real form is if it is observed...

I am not qualified to weigh in on the validity of this interpretation, but Wheeler was far more qualified than most.

He also was a genuinely nice guy...
