The NRA, National Prayer Breakfast, Scott Walker...Its a lot like that old Cold War film,"The Manchurian Candidate", isn't it? Oh yeah, the details are different, but in both, Russian spies infiltrate the US Government by establishing a foothold in the far Right.

After all, those super-patriotic, god-fearing champions of the free market are immune from criticism because they are so righteous and virtuous, so exceptionally American. Any attack on them can easily be dismissed as Liberal subversion and the MSM. This crowd will sell their country out in a heartbeat to get a tax cut, remove regulations on business, and fully privatize the health care system.

Its not just Trump. He is the foolish, evil, possibly sick little man who eventually gets elected into any democracy. It could just as easily have been a Democrat. The real problem is that his message has been so appealing to the Conservative movement that it has been willing, even eager, to enable him because it has been so good for their agenda. That's all they care about, even those on the Right who recognized long ago that Trump was a pompous fraud and a grotesque bully still went along with him because they stood to gain financially. Its all about greed, and greed makes you vulnerable to blackmail.

They sold out their country for 30 pieces of silver.
