Give up their tax cuts? Restore environmental regs, including the fight against global warming? Re-institute worker-friendly laws and financial monitoring? Allow Obamacare, or something like it to replace it? To risk losing the loyalty vote of the Deplorables and knuckledraggers and the rest of the racist, inbred, banjo-plucking, hair-on-their-teeth trailer trash that has come to characterize the Grand Old Party of Abraham Lincoln?

Or to admit publicly that the Liberals were right all along, that the Conservatives were not only wrong, but KNEW they were wrong from the beginning and chose to back this perverse orange dildo anyway?

No, they will either support the Trumpers, or simply disappear and pretend nothing is happening until this all blows over. (Kind of like the Conservatives right here on the Zone.)

And later, when the nation settles down to cleaning up the messes and putting out the fires the Right has inflicted on us, they will re-emerge with detailed and well-rehearsed arguments about how the devastation we are experiencing are really all Obama and Clinton's fault, with the help of the MSM, Leftist academics, the Deep State and the Liberal elites.

You see, Trump IS NOT THE PROBLEM. Its the people who knew exactly who he was but wanted him and then supported him in order to further their own agenda. They are the disease. Trump is just a symptom.
