cell size

Nice presentation. I've recently been looking at 3D population maps that use county or precinct population data as the geographic cell. This one uses a grid which results in a different view.

I noticed quickly a weird spike between Pueblo and La Junta, Colorado, along Highway 50. I know there is not much there but farms and small communities along the Arkansas River. Why this spike?

It's the Crowley County Correctional Facility.

Thanks for the link. Mrs. P found it interesting as well.
