The first is irrelevant, if he keeps it out of national government. A lot more damage has been done to this country by people who believe in the mythology of socialism than people who believe God created the Earth.
I haven't heard about the marriage amendment, but I would disagree with him on it. It's nothing the Constitution should be dealing with, and not a Federal issue.
