The Pelosi strategy makes sense, its stupid to start a fight you can't possibly win, especially if it assures your own destruction. OTOH, Sometimes, you have to fight, even if the prospects of victory are vanishingly small, not just to maintain your self-respect, but to show the bastards that they have gone too far and its going to cost them some casualties to get their way. If they think we're cowards, they'll just push others around. Bullies don't always hold back when you resist, but they never go away if you back down.

Nancy may not be right, or she could be right and still lose. But she's tough, she's smart and she's good. That's three advantages she has over the syphilitic business majors who are trying to take over our country.
