Many of Trump's ardent supporters have become far quieter than they were in the early days after the election.
But their early exuberance will be remembered, their families and co-workers will not forget their treason.
Those that proclaimed their support on Facebook and elsewhere on the internet will have that record to deal with forever.
Trump supporters are already whining that they have lost friends, that no one will date them, that they are treated with hostility when they don their little red hats.
Their situation quite likely will become far worse. If Trump drags them down as far as I suspect he will, then they will be maligned and held in contempt for generations.
Of course they will whine that they are being unfairly victimized. They do love to play the martyrs... but they will find that it will be impossible to pull off that act after being so enthusiastic in inflicting cruelty on others.
