Funny thing, too: While Trump, in his profound ignorance, talks about "impeaching" House members for having the temerity to exercise oversight, each chamber in Congress does have the right to expel members for serious misbehavior (or "misdemeanour" in the archaic English of the 18th century).
I'd say that violating Federal law while invading the sanctity of a SCIF most definitely is an expellable misdemeanour.
Take heart, though: Nothing says desperation like reverting to brown shirt type. They're on the run.
