Solar obsvs

Snowing here, so no viewing of the transit. Rats.

I use a tiny mirror for solar observations. It's a half inch mirror mounted to a tripod with some double stick tape. I put the tripod at the end of the driveway, remove a panel from the garage door, and shoot the reflected image onto the back wall of the darkened garage. Aside from having to re-aim the mirror every five minutes, it works great for seeing sunspots, eclipses, and the transit of Venus.
