...the White House has been "reviewing" Bolton's MS for over a month now, ostensibly in order to check for national security revelations. We know now why they have been dragging their feet on this.

The President's defenders (Lindsay Graham) have also suggested the book be reviewed by the Senate behind closed doors, again, ostensibly, for national security revelations. I'm sorry Lindsay, but it just won't wash. The book is due to be released soon, there is no other reason to keep it secret other than to get past the Senate trial vote date. The revelations about the Ukraine shakedown have nothing to do with classified information, and they will be public knowledge eventually anyway.

One other thing comes to mind. Perhaps this is why Speaker Pelosi delayed the start of the trial as long as she did. Perhaps Mr Bolton and she are working together.
