Posting for me is generally cut-n-paste from Notepad. I type it all up, paste to Word for spellcheck, then back to Notepad to clean out Word and then to post. Doing this, I've noticed my img src= and center commands completely vanish. The text and a href=" links seem to remain just fine.

I go back in and add my images (again). Seems the page has difficulty accepting both image and centering at the same time, so I save then add my centers (again).

Everything comes up fine, but then my centering vanishes after a few days, perhaps as you said after I receive a reply.
