The fascists' followers may like to think of themselves as philosopher-warriors.
But deep down inside, this generation of vipers is little more than just a nation of shopkeepers. They are bookkeepers who fancy themselves as entrepreneurs, petty accountants who visualize themselves as take-charge executives. They are plodding bureaucrats who see themselves as dynamic leaders.
Remember Hannah Arendt's phrase "the banality of evil"?
