Fascinating, indeed!. I particularly like the idea of harvesting these guys for spacecraft fuel, or for power generation, depending on their concentration. At last, a matter-antimatter annihilation drive!

I wonder how they got there. Probably some cosmic ray production mechanism, since they seem to be replaced as quickly as they naturally decay, and the population is in equilibrium.

I tracked down the source article in the ApJ Letters, and it is indeed legit, but be very careful with articles on this site. Any web site that links you to Graham Hancock is to be taken with a very large boulder of NaCl.
