I think you're both crazy.
For starters, Britain is not a socialist country, it is a capitalist one, and it has a history of relatively little civil unrest (except perhaps for soccer hooligans). In fact, the last major one I can think of was the General Strike of the 1930s when the UK was arguably the most capitalist country in the world.
Now perhaps today England is somewhat more to the left than the USA, but its not like the US hasn't had a long history of riots and civil unrest, even back when it was as far Right as anybody ever was.
And there are many countries in Europe that are comparably 'leftist' to Britain, that don't have civil unrest, although some do have crazed right wing neofascist mass murderers.
You people can't blame socialism for everything. Sometimes a riot is just a riot.
