Those two were hoping to be heroes to the mindless cult members that comprise the GOP these days...
It was a blatantly immoral and fascist act of racism- so that had Trump and his minions celebrating them for 2 hours- and then they backed down when they began taking fire, getting called out nation wide.
You now they will go down as a footnote in the history books- hated by both sides.
Hated by Americans that value our democracy and detest their fascist attempt to strip the vote from people of color.
And hated by their fellow traitors for not having the guts to stick by their guns...
I do hope their grandchildren ask them what the hell they were thinking...
