Allow me to give you a boost...

*Solar radiation, not low gravity, is responsible for the dissociation of water on Mars. The gravity itself can lead to slight loss of water vapour, but this can be countered.

*Perchlorate contamination has been a problem on Earth as well. We've developed methods to handle it.

*Numerous solutions to the magnetic field problem can be found in the links, or via a quick search. Seriously, look!

I'd hate to see the Zone give up so easily on this challenge. Have another go at it!
